Phase two of The Smith Project is the addition of the pool house!  This building will tie the design of the yard and pool with the renovated Al Beadle home. PINNELLA I KAHNG architecture studio did a complete re-design of the home and site to create a home that responds to current needs of the homes owners.

The pool house features a dramatic cantilevered steel framed covered patio with full height bi-folding doors to open the space to the exterior.  Sand blasted CMU block will blend the building with the existing home.  Steel box windows and custom masonry details accent the CUM walls.  The back of the building features a white stucco studio with tilt-up bar window and north facing full width clearstory windows providing diffused light into the space.  A pool bath and outdoor shower complete the design.
